Focus and Scope

The Sri Lanka Anatomy Journal aims to promote research in Anatomical sciences or related areas by providing a platform for the anatomists to advance their knowledge in Anatomy and to publish anatomy related articles. The SLAJ aims to serve professionals possessing MBBS, BDS, BVSc, BSc or any other professional qualification related to the anatomical sciences. It contains articles under different categories such as an editorial, leading articles, review articles, short reports, case reports, letters to editors, miscellaneous articles and proceedings of annual sessions.

Publication Frequency

Sri Lanka Anatomy Journal publishes the journal bi-annually.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There is no embargo on the journal’s publications.

Authors of articles published remain the copyright holders and grant third parties the right to use, reproduce, and share the article according to the Creative Commons license agreement.

Authors are encouraged to publish their data in recommended repositories.
