 Presidential Induction

The presidential induction of the ASSL for 2024/2025 was held on the 20th of March 2025 at the Physiology Lecture theater Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya.

Chief Guest on this occasion was Prof. Deepika Udagama, Chair Professor in Law, Department of Law, University of Peradeniya

The Guest of Honor was Prof. Rohan Jayasekara

Dr. Jayampathi Dissanayake was ceremonially inducted as the president of the ASSL for the year 2024/2025

The Guest Lecture was given by Dr. Muditha Lansakara, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, National Hospital Kandy 

AGM

The annual general meeting of the ASSL was held on the 17th of December 2024 as an hybrid event, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo and via the zoom platform. 

Dr Jayampathi Dissanayake from the Department of Anatomy, University of Peradeniya was elected as the President for the year 2024/2025
